- Lakehead communications are filtered to target the specific circumstances of Professional Program students
- more scaffolding of curriculum to suit the various practicum stages for students
- hire full time faculty to provide a better ratio to and more support for students

- situated learning: a partner / lab / pod school in Orillia for regular learning connections between elementary school students and the Lakehead program
- an assistant or co-Chair for the program to facilitate student, faculty, and program issues in Orillia
- introduce elective, program streams for year 2 to increase student choice and increase motivation in their learning
- increased, enhanced, or new teaching spaces
