- Primary/junior and junior/intermediate programs also receive instruction in all four arts disciplines and include a one day Arts Conference with workshops led by regional artists/arts educators (cost $25 each for 100 teacher candidates)

- Experience in a diverse range of school settings
- A mid-program break (roughly May- August) to enroll in optional courses, pursue extra teaching experiences or summer employment.

- They offer a Physical Health Education degree that sounds fairly unique and you can take this while in the concurent education program or you could take this specialized degree first and then take the consecutive BEd program after. Queens:
- University graduates earn a second degree: Bachelor of Education. Secondary school graduates may earn a Diploma of Education in Aboriginal Teacher Education Program or Technological Education only.
- 4 successive terms, starting in May and ending in August the following year.
- Queen's graduates are out into the job market early. All students take a concentration (see Course Descriptions) by combining a Focus course, an Educational Studies course, and the Alternative Practicum.
- Students can apply to the Aboriginal Teacher Education Program, Artist in Community Education, and Outdoor & Experiential Education and Technological Education programs. For both Primary-Junior (K - Grade 6) and Intermediate-Senior (Grades 7 - 12).
- 21 weeks of placements, including an alternative practicum that can be done outside a school setting and anywhere in the world as long as it is related to the program. Travel Fellowships support education-related travel outside Canada for alternative practicum placements.
- Alternative placements can be abroad.
Trent:
- Consecutive B.Ed: This program, as with all Faculties of Education in Ontario, is delivered throughout 4 semesters spread over a 2-year period.
- Concurrent B.Ed: Teacher Education Stream- BA with concentration in Education, prep for Consecutive program
- Indigenous B.Ed: As a 5 year concurrent program, students will complete 3 years of their undergraduate and 2 years of the professional B.Ed. program.
- They do a placement in the summer which reduces the number of courses (1 course)
- They do their year 1 placement is one of the 10 courses, (1 course)
- They only take Math, Language, and PE for C&I courses first year (3 courses)
- They do a small placement with small groups helping with literacy and take a course on how to do the placement,( 2 more courses)
- Two teaching divisions – Primary/Junior level (K-Grade 6) and at the Intermediate/Senior level (Grades 7-12)
- Full-time and in-class program over 2 years (four terms) in length
- The program runs from the last week in August through to the middle of April, reflecting the school term calendar, summer break between Year 1 and Year 2
- Ability to focus on an area of interest through elective courses
- 115 days of teaching experience for practicum and alternate placement
